Live Life Love Lent

Pudsey Parish Church is encouraging everyone to be a good neighbour this Lent.

'Love Life, Live Lent', sponsored by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, is a programme of 50 simple actions that people can take to help us love our neighbours.

Actions range from "take a bag of clothes to a charity shop", to "talk to someone from a different culture", or "say hello to a police officer". 
One day you could "find out about human trafficking", another day you could "make and share some cakes".
Everyone coming to the church will receive bright, colourful booklet listing all 50 actions, one per day.  There is a special booklet for children, which will be offered to local schools.
People think Lent is about giving things up and going around with a long face.
It's much more about brightening up each other's lives and putting a smile on someone else's face by living the gospel life.
